Encouragement

I have a new idea for a book. I'm not one to really write a children's book, but I feel like it would be a good place to start while working on my other "more advanced" books. I was thinking that I would write a book about a girl and her childhood dog. I know it sounds sort of clique, but it relates to my own life, which as a writer I would really like to do in all of the novels that I will hopefully someday write. What do you all think? Should it be a chapter book or a bunch of little picture books or what? I don't know what to do yet, but I think I'm going to start writing the plot down. :) hope you all are having a fine day.

  1. Does the dog get sick and have to get taken out behind the shed and put down by the little girl with a shotgun at the end? I think that would make it relatr to your life really well =P
